Welcome to the new Sentieo iPhone experience!
The team here at Sentieo is always working to improve our mobile applications to provide the best user experience. In order to provide the best-in-class mobile experience, this new version of Sentieo for iPhone app has a refreshed UI that will allow users to supercharge their research workflow without skipping a beat. Users can easily stay in the know with any relevant news, documents, or price movements that occur in the markets on a daily basis.
Our upgraded app includes a multitude of new features, such as our brand new Home Page, World Equities Indices, and Company/Watchlist Overview. Please read below for more information!
Home Page
As part of our new iPhone V2 application, we’ve created a brand new Home Page, where users will be able to customize specific sections based on their preferences. The Home Page will act as a launchpad for you to be able to get caught up on key pieces of information based on all of the companies that you follow, whether it’s based on relevant price or news updates around ETFs, indices, watchlists, or specific companies.
What’s new?
We’re introducing this workflow so that you can start their research workflow from this page, and dive deeper into specific data points as necessary. Based on your preference, you will see specific markets displayed on top, then yours watchlists, upcoming events, and the News Stream, all of which have been completely refreshed.
From the Home Page, you will be able to access our Global Search at the top of the screen, our brand new Markets Page, view and modify any of your watchlists, access the Earnings Calendar, and our improved News Stream page.

In this re-designed News Stream (also available in our Overview Page, mentioned below), you will be able to manage the Stream Sensitivity, which will display information based on your preference. Within this screen, you will also be able to re-order Document Types and configure it as your default setting. The available document types are the following:
- Tweets
- Articles
- News
- Broker Research (if applicable)
- Notes

Global Search and Navigation
As part of our improved search experience, we’ve introduced a Global Search and Navigation workflow into our iPhone application. In our previous app, you would have to tap on either the left or right navigation pane to access a different module (i.e. Document Search, News Stream, Financials, etc.) and re-enter your ticker or query.
What’s changed?
Now, you will be able to type in a ticker, and have immediate access to all different parts of the platform for that specific company. Simply tap on the search bar at the top of the Home Page or at the bottom of the screen. You will subsequently be taken to the Global Search page.
From this page, you will have the option to input data into the ticker and/or query bar. By typing in a ticker symbol in the ticker bar, any relevant module will appear at the bottom. The navigation pane of various modules will dynamically update based on the amount of tickers that are typed in (single ticker vs. multiple tickers vs. watchlist, etc.).

From this page, you will be able to navigate through the following modules (as applicable):
- Overview Page
- Document Search
- Financials
- Charts
- Comparable Analysis
- Calendar
- Notes
Document Search
We’ve refreshed our Document Search module in our latest version of the iPhone application. You will find that every search snippet has been re-designed for an easier search experience, with all the available data you need presented in a concise manner.
What’s changed?
We’ve updated certain functionality such as our Document Type filters, IN: commands, and the document color coding to provide a cleaner UI. Additionally, we’ve added the ability to bookmark a document directly on the front page of the search summary, instead of having to open the document viewer to do so. This allows you to quickly save documents to read later if you’re not able to read in the moment.

Our Share extension has also been revamped for a more integrated experience between your mobile web browser and Sentieo. If you are viewing on a mobile web browser such as Safari, you will be able to upload that content directly into Sentieo, so that you can highlight/annotate as necessary. Simply tap on the Share button and the window will prompt you to assign any relevant tags, tickers, or groups as necessary.
We’ve also included new functionality such as the ability to sort your results by date, relevance, or hits and showing you the results of your query on the front page, so you have all the information to streamline your search. Simply tap on the “Sort By” dropdown and you’ll have instant access to all 3 sort options.

Overview Page
In our brand new Overview page, we’ve revamped the UI to allow you to search a company and immediately view high-level information about it. You will be able to instantly get a birds-eye view about any company that they search for.
What’s new?
From this page, you can instantly access quick historical and forward-looking financial information such as:
- Market Cap
- Day’s Range
- Open/Prev Close
- P.E
- Revenue
- EV
- EV/EBITDA
You can tap on the “More Data” icon to expose the financial mini-model for the selected company to view the data mentioned above.

Additionally, we’ve included a historical price and intraday chart, along with a revamped News Stream. In this re-designed News Stream (also available on our Home Page), you will be able to manage the Stream Sensitivity, which will display information based on their preference. Within this screen, you will also be able to re-order Document Types and configure it as your default setting. The available document types are the following:
- Tweets
- Articles
- News
- Broker Research (if applicable)
- Notes
Watchlists
Our Watchlist Page has been completely refreshed to provide you with the best-in-class experience with managing all of your watchlists in one screen, as well as providing additional functionality so you can manage their portfolio of companies while away from your computer.
What’s changed?
You will no longer need to create or modify their watchlists from the web application and instead will be able to do it directly from the iPhone app! Additionally, you are now able to customize their “favorite” watchlists, and have them appear on your Home Page.
To create or modify a watchlist, simply tap on the “Pencil” icon on the top right corner of the screen, and the watchlist manager functionality will activate. From this page, you will be able to:
- Create a new watchlist
- Edit a watchlist name
- Add/remove tickers from a watchlist
- Delete a watchlist

To select watchlists to be favorited on your Home Page, tap on the star icon next to the watchlist name. You will be able to select up to 10 watchlists to appear on the Home Page.

Finally, we’ve included the ability to sort a watchlist’s constituents based on your preference. When expanding on a watchlist, you can sort it by several options:
- Name (Alphabetical)
- Current Price
- Price Change by amount
- Price Change by %
Markets
In our brand new Markets Page, you have the ability to monitor the Market with Most Active Stocks (MOST) and WEI (World Equity Indices), while on the go. We’re introducing MOST and WEI to bring you new ways to analyze intraday price changes top-down and bottom-up, and spot trends and abnormal market activity as they happen.
Additionally, you will be able to monitor Equity ETFs for the main regions around the world in real time.
What’s new?
Our Markets page will display multiple predefined lists of indexes and ETFs, and helps build quickly a broad and high-level view of major markets and sectors. Some of the indices/ETFs include:
- SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF
- S&P 500 (SPY)
- Russell 2K (IWM)
- Nasdaq 100 (QQQ)
- Euro Stoxx 50
- FTSE 100
- Nikkei

Each list focuses on a specific region or gives insight into specific industries. You can also dive into the constituents or holdings of a specific index or ETF, and identify what sector or individual member is driving the ETF move today.
To get access from MOST, tap on a Market and it will direct you to the Overview Page for that index/ETF. On this screen, you will be able to tap on “Most Active” from the sub-menu at the bottom. From this page, all information around Top Gainers, Losers, and Most Trade will be displayed.

Notification Center & Alerts
You will also notice that our Notification Center and Alerts have gotten an upgraded UI refresh as well. In our previous iPhone app, we only displayed limited types of alerts: All, Keywords, Price, Filings, and News. In our updated iPhone V2, not only do you have the ability to customize their Notification Center, but we’ve included more notification types as well, such as Broker Research and Notes. All you have to do is tap on the “Manage” icon on the top right of the screen, and the expanded customization menu will appear (similar to the Manage Stream workflow).
Our expanded functionality allows users to never miss a beat from the moment they leave their computer.
